A safety valve (pressure relief valve) protects installations, tanks and pipelines against impermissible overpressure. When the set pressure is reached, the spring-loaded valve opens automatically and relieves the overpressure; as soon as the pressure returns to normal, the valve closes by itself.
The set pressure (bar) is adjusted per unit to the desired value. Specify the desired set pressure when ordering (range 1,7-2,7 bar adjustable).
