Globe valves for regulating and shutting off
In a globe valve the disc moves straight onto the seat, so the medium is gradually passed through or closed off. This makes the valve particularly suited to regulating and throttling the flow, and not only to open and close applications. Globe valves are available in brass, bronze, cast iron and stainless steel, with threaded or flanged connection.
