This is a high-power pneumatic actuator in Scotch Yoke version (Double acting (DA)). Supplied in anodised aluminium with breakaway torque 960 Nm at 5,6 bar. ISO 5211 mounting flange F12, square shaft 22 x 22 mm. NAMUR recess for direct mounting of a solenoid valve.
Scotch Yoke - high torqueThe Scotch Yoke geometry provides high torque at the beginning and end of the stroke - ideal for heavy butterfly valves and large ball valves.
Double acting (DA)Air pressure is connected to both ports - independent open/close control.
ISO 5211 F12Can be mounted directly on large Omal ball valves and butterfly valves with a matching F12 flange. Square shaft 22 x 22 mm.
NAMUR solenoid valve connectionStandard NAMUR pattern on top - direct mounting of Omal or universal 3/2 or 5/2 solenoid valves.
Mount the DA960401 directly on the drive side of the valve with an ISO 5211 F12 flange and a square shaft 22 x 22 mm. Connect the compressed air to the correct port: for DA on both ports (open and close), for SR only on the open port (air opens, spring closes). Standard working pressure 5,6 bar; at lower pressure, the breakaway torque decreases linearly. For ATEX applications: request the ATEX version with the corresponding certification.
