Butterfly valves

A butterfly valve controls and shuts off the flow with a rotating disc inside the pipe. Its short face-to-face length and low weight make it a cost-effective solution for large pipe diameters, where a ball valve would become too heavy or too expensive. Available in wafer and lug designs, operated by hand lever, gearbox or an electric or pneumatic actuator.
